Advanced Visual Arts
This major is a studio course designed for students who desire advanced study in visual arts. Students will produce advanced art portfolios showcasing their talents. Students will work with digital photography, computer design, oil painting, mosaic/glass work, illustration and mixed-media. All students will keep an art journal throughout the year to mark their growth. Students also have the opportunity to participate in a variety of business and community projects.   AP Studio Art credit is available in 2-D Design & Illustration.
Junior Year:
Art 3 - Drawing & Painting (2 credits)
Art Appreciation 1 (1 credit)

Senior Year:
Art 4 - Ceramic and Sculpture (2 credits)
Art Appreciation 2 (1 credit)
AP Art Studio (optional)
