Networking and Systems Security

Networking introduces students to: industry domains including network architecture; network operations; network security; network troubleshooting, industry standards, practice, and network theory; and workplace readiness and leadership skills. In addition, instruction and training are provided for the proper care, maintenance, and use of networking software, tools, and equipment. Particular emphasis is given to the use of critical thinking skills and problem-solving techniques with a primary focus on opportunities for hands on learning. These courses provide a foundation baseline of knowledge necessary for all IT industries.
